Engineering Machinery Knowledge & Terminology
Turbocharger (Cummins QSB6.7): Located on the exhaust manifold. Increases engine efficiency by forcing extra air into the combustion chamber.
Main Relief Valve (Komatsu PC200-8): Part of the main hydraulic control valve. It protects the system from overpressure during heavy lifting.
Fuel Injector (Caterpillar 320D): Mounted in the cylinder head. Precisely sprays fuel into the combustion chamber for optimal ignition.
Alternator (Isuzu 4HK1): Driven by the engine belt. Charges the battery and powers the electrical system while the engine runs.
Oil Pump (Kubota V2403): Usually at the front of the engine block. Circulates engine oil under pressure to lubricate moving parts.

Technical Support: Common Faults & Maintenance
Case Study: Caterpillar E320C Excavator Throttle Failure
Symptom: The machine's engine speed does not respond to the throttle dial, and the engine remains at idle speed.
Diagnosis: Multimeter testing showed no resistance change in the old motor. Inspection revealed the internal gears of the 247-5227 motor were worn out.
Solution: Replace with our new 4I-5496 Stepping Motor. Calibrate the throttle cable length. The engine response returned to normal immediately.
Maintenance Tip: For Komatsu PC300-7 excavators, always clean the fuel-water separator every 50 hours of operation to prevent injector blockage and fuel pump wear.
