Maintenance and Troubleshooting Solution

Issue: Engine Power Loss in CAT 312E Excavator

Symptoms: Engine stalls or lacks power under load, black smoke from exhaust.

Solution: Check the Diesel Filter 322-3154. If clogged, it restricts fuel flow to the C7 Engine. Replace the filter and inspect the Pressure Limiting Valve. Ensure all Gasket Kits are sealed to prevent air leaks.

Maintenance Tip:

Always replace engine oil and filters every 500 hours on Komatsu PC200-8 to prevent Crankshaft Bearing wear and Turbocharger failure.
