    Solution: Check for shaft play or damage to the turbine/compressor wheels. Use a diagnostic tool to check for boost pressure readings. A faulty turbo may need to be rebuilt or replaced.

  3. Faulty Injectors: One or more fuel injectors may be stuck open, worn, or have a bad spray pattern, dumping excess fuel into the cylinder.
    Solution: Perform a cylinder cut-out test to identify the poorly performing cylinder. Remove and test the injectors. Replace any injectors that fail testing.
